R.I. Senate Approves Cash Advance
Early aid legislation is now sent to the governor's office.

The R.I. Senate gave the stamp of approval to legislation that will give East Providence $12.6 million in early state aid on Tuesday, according to NBC 10 reports.
The bill is now sent to Gov. Lincoln Chafee's office for signing. It was expected the measure would pass as the House overwhelmingly .
Tpday, the budget commission formally requested the deposit of state aid from the Director of Revenue.
