RI State Police Arrest Two East Providence Drivers
The original charges were related to driving with expired or suspended licenses.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Samuel S. Adesuyi, 26, of Rumford, was arrested on Friday Dec. 23 at 11:45 a.m. on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment. The original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originated out of the North Kingstown Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North, Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before the Justice of the Peace, and released.
On Thursday, Dec. 22 at 8:38 p.m., Troopers arrested Mercedes Machado, 25, of East Providence, Rhode Island on an Affidavit / Arrest Warrant for Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty and Driving Without / Expired License. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by Troopers out of the Wickford Barracks and Bristol Police Department taking the subject into custody. Machado was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
