Richard Flagg, 81, Owned Dover Ltd.

Richard A. Flagg, of Ide Avenue, East Providence, died Friday, March 15, 2013 at Orchard View Manor.  He was 81.

He was the husband of the late Mary L. (Murphy) Flagg.  Born in Worcester, Mass., he was a son of the late Chester and Dorothy (Laflame) Flagg.   

Flagg was the owner and operator of Dover Limited Ltd. He leaves his daughter, Audrey A. Flagg of East Providence; two sons, Jon R. Flagg of New York and Stephen P. Flagg of Woburn, Mass.; two sisters, Dorothy Parker of Worcester and Jean Vayo of Sterling, Mass.; one brother, Arthur Flagg of Worcester and one grandson, Shaun Flagg.  He was the father of the late James E. Flagg.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 am from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are today from 5 to 8 pm.
