The Providence County Grand Jury charged Austin Rouse, 17, of Riverside, with seven counts of first degree child molestation and two counts of second degree child molestation, according to reports from the Attorney General's office. It is alleged that on multiples instances in 2007, 2010, and 2011, Rouse molested a child under 14. He was waived out of Family Court to be tried as an adult in Superior Court. The alleged incidents occurred in East Providence. The conducted the investigation. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on Feb. 8 and is currently being held without bail.
