Schools Set Marching Orders in Preparation of Townie Pride Parade
Participants in the seventh annual parade will strut around Pierce Memorial Field this Friday.

This Friday at Pierce Memorial Field, red and white is the dress code. And don't even show up without a badge of Townie pride.
Organizers of the seventh annual Townie Pride Parade welcome parents, students, teachers and staff to assemble on the baseball field before the football game starts, according to a press release issued by the school district. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Participants will then march around the track inside Pierce Field, led by the high school marching band and cheerleaders. Families are then invited to stay and watch the high school football game.
