Silvana (Sousa) Oliveira, 69, Former Davol Employee

Silvana (Sousa) Oliveira, 69, of Pickett Road, East Providence, died Friday, March 1, 2013, at her home. She was 69.

She was the wife of Antonio Oliveira. Born in Rabo de Peixe, Sao Miguel, Azores she was a daughter of the late Alvaro and Silvana Sousa. 

Oliveira worked for the Davol Rubber Company before retiring.  She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church.

Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Antonio Oliveira and Michael Oliveira; four sisters, Landina Melo, Florinda Pecsi, Fatima Baron and Christine Sous; two brothers, Alvaro and Jose Sousa and two grandchildren, Alyssa and Tyler. 

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8 am from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
