Statehouse Rally Today to Protest Trump Refugee Policy
Resist Hate RI has posted a Facebook event against President Trump's executive order halting the admission of refugees from certain nations.

PROVIDENCE, RI— A group calling itself Resist Hate RI has organized a rally today at the Statehouse.
According to the event page, it runs from 1 to 5 p.m. today and ends with a march to Nathan Bishop School on Providence's East Side. U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse is holding a community dinner there to discuss concerns about affordable health care and other issues.
The Resist Hate RI event page states "Join us for a rally in response to the Trump Administration's announced refugee / Muslim ban. Let our Muslim brothers and sisters know we stand with them. On the South Lawn of the Statehouse. We are working on locking in a speaking program and will be rolling it out tomorrow morning. The one big announcement is that in the spirit of coordination, solidarity, and building a movement built to last we will be ending the rally with a march to Nathan Bishop Middle School (101 Sessions St, Providence, RI 02906). We will join our community members for a discussion with Senator Whitehouse to push him to fight Trump with everything he's got."
