VIDEO: Neighbors React to Deaths in East Providence Home

Neighbors gathered around a Hazard Avenue property roped off with yellow tape as police and rescue personnel investigated the deaths of a man and woman found in the white house Tuesday afternoon. Rhode Island Medical Examiner's Office workers brought stretchers into the building as a small crowd congregated on the sidestreets.

According to Norman Morse, a resident of the neighborhood, the incident is "shocking." He first heard of the news from neighbors after rescue teams surrounded the area. According to Morse, the neighborhood is usually quiet and nothing like this has happened in the area in more than 25 years.

Neighbor Donna Andrews also said she was in disbelief. 

"I can't believe this would happen."
