Waddington Family Fun Event Tonight

“It will again be an unforgettable evening,” said Jessica Beauchaine.

She was referring to the third annual Waddington Family Fun and Food Event at Riverside Middle School today from 5 to 9 pm.

“Last year, we raised over $12,000 and had over 700 people in attendance,” Beauchaine said in a post on Patch about the event. “We were able to purchase SMARTBOARDS for some of the classrooms at Waddington Elementary School.”

“The evening is full of fun and excitement,” said Beauchaine, who runs the event for the Waddington PTA.

“Our menu will be pasta and meatballs, bread, butter and salad,” she said. “We will have a variety of hot and cold beverages, as well as an assortment of yummy desserts. There will also be an amazing selection of entertainment!.”

Entertainers include the School of Rock, Kelly's School of Irish Dancers, the Waddington Chorus and the Self Defense Training Center. 

“We are having a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and other wonderful raffle items that will be available to bid on throughout the night,” she said. “We have over 190 penny social items and well over 100 raffle items. “

“Please consider joining us this year,” Beauchaine said.  “Please don’t forget to visit our Cake Walk and Jail and Bail.”
