Key to Awesomeness: These seven girls excel at reading and math in school, but what you may not know is that they are exceptional dancers as well. As part of their training, these young dancers attend dance conventions and master classes throughout the year. They compete across New England in various dance competitions and last year, they received platinum and high golds on the majority of their dances. This year they have three competitions before the National 2011 American Dance Awards in Boston in July. It is a big commitment, but these girls and their families agree that being a Shannon O'Brien dancer is a name to be proud of.

Do you know a great kid who made Eagle Scout or did your local soccer team take the championship? They may be our next Patch Whiz Kids honoree.
