Recognizing them as Wild Women helps to recognize and celebrate their ability to lead by example, and can help pave the way for others to do the same,” she adds.

The Wild Women of Bristol County luncheon raises funds for WRC to provide free and confidential services to victims of domestic violence in Newport and Bristol Counties. With the generous support of attendees and sponsors, WRC assures that every person who contacts their 24-hour hotline, or who arrives at their door receives the services they need in a safe and supportive environment. All proceeds benefit the Women’s Resource Center’s domestic violence prevention, education, shelter and advocacy programs.
