• Rhode Island lawmaker will resign, after report of her moving to South Carolina (bostonglobe.com) — A state representative who has served North Kingstown and Exeter since 2017 will resign after moving her primary residence to South Carolina, raising questions about her eligibility to finish the term. Top state officials had urged her to step down, while she initially argued she needed to keep serving her local constituents remotely until January.
