• Rhode Island marks 25th anniversary of September 11th attacks (independentri.com) — Exeter hosted Rhode Island's main 25th-anniversary 9/11 remembrance at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, where Gov. Dan McKee honored the nine Rhode Islanders killed in the attacks and service members lost afterward. The morning ceremony included bell ringings, moments of silence for each crash, and echoed similar observances held in other cities and towns across the state.
