Education is one of the most powerful expressions of sovereignty. While education has long been used to silence Indigenous knowledge, it can also serve as a tool for reclamation and self-determination.
This session examines how Indigenous pedagogies challenge colonial narratives and transform classrooms into spaces of continuance that honor Indigenous ways of knowing.
Participants will reflect on the responsibility that educators and institutions carry in shaping inclusive curriculum and supporting relational, sovereignty-centered learning.
