• CODAC brings medical van to Wood River Health to treat opioid addiction (pbn.com) — Residents in Hopkinton can now access methadone, buprenorphine, and basic health services from a new CODAC mobile medical van stationed weekday mornings at Wood River Health on Main Street. The unit aims to remove transportation barriers for people with opioid use disorder, offering counseling, screenings, and regular visits from a physician in partnership with the local health center.
   

• Taylor Swift donates $50K to mom left seriously injured after saving teens from highway crash (nbcnewyork.com) — A serious July 18 crash on I-95 in Hopkinton left Rhode Island mom Ashley Taunton badly injured after she pulled over in a rainstorm to help teenagers whose car hydroplaned. As she shielded another person from a second oncoming vehicle, she suffered major internal and leg injuries, and Taylor Swift has now donated $50,000 toward her mounting medical bills.
