• No suspects in Flock camera vandalism (jamestownpress.com) — A state police Flock license-plate camera installed near the Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge was deliberately knocked down, and investigators say they currently have no suspects or leads. The damaged camera, the only Flock device in Jamestown, is now in police custody, and any decision to repair or replace it is on hold due to the governor's temporary moratorium on such cameras.
• Jamestown Zoning Board Delays Oversized Propane Tank Case (upriseri.com) — Jamestown's Zoning Board has postponed a decision on whether a Walcott Avenue homeowner can install a nearly 2,000-gallon underground propane tank, almost double the town's 1,100-gallon limit. Members questioned both the true need for such capacity and whether underground propane tanks are even allowed in that zoning district, and will seek a legal opinion before voting at a future meeting.
• North Kingstown High Tennis Courts Unusable, Bid Urged (upriseri.com) — With North Kingstown High's tennis courts in such poor shape that half are unusable, all girls' home matches are being shifted to school courts in Jamestown, with boys' matches likely to follow in spring. Jamestown is providing the courts at no charge while North Kingstown officials debate a $400,000–$500,000 replacement project, safety concerns, and how quickly to seek bids and funding.
