Wanted Providence Woman Jailed: Cops
The Providence woman was arrested during a traffic stop, police said.
JAMESTOWN, RI — A wanted Providence woman was arrested and jailed, police said.
Tatana Mendez, 22, was pulled over and arrested on Route 138 in Jamestown shortly before 12:30 a.m. Sunday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Mendez was wanted on a warrant charging her with failing to appear in court for a driving with a suspended, revoked or canceled license case, according to the release.

Mendez was processed at the Wickford Barracks and "later transferred to the Adult Correctional Institute — Women's Intake Center," the release said.
