• Woonsocket man wanted on shoplifting charge nabbed: Cops (patch.com) — Johnston drivers on Atwood Avenue may have noticed police activity Thursday evening when state troopers stopped a vehicle and arrested a 49-year-old Woonsocket man wanted on a shoplifting warrant. Police say he was taken to State Police headquarters for processing before being transported to the Woonsocket Police Department on the outstanding charge.
