Johnston Memorial Park is scheduled to host the Campfires for Cancer event on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 3-11 p.m.
Campfires for Cancer is a one-day event designed to help fight cancer in children. Proceeds help to support the programs and services of the Hasbro Children's Hospital Hematology/Oncology Department.
The event includes cookout sites, rides for children, ice cream sundae making, games, music and campfires in the evening.
