The North Central Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual "Night of the Rising Stars" event tonight at Twelve Acres in Smithfield featuring Michael Tamburro, president of the Pawtucket Red Sox, as guest speaker.
The evening will also highlight the winners of the Chamber's "Community Service," "Rising Star" and "Small Business of the Year" awards for 2010. The Chamber will also award scholarships to local high school seniors, the business leaders of the future.
Cocktails, networking and the Chamber's Mini Expo will begin at 5:00 p.m. The event continues with the speaking presentation at 6:30 p.m. The evening will also include hors d'oeuvres, food stations and cash bar.
