Meet a Critter at Audubon

The Audubon Society of Rhode Island is hosting a variety of special programs for children this week during February school vacation.

Today children can join the Audubon Society at Powder Mill Ledges Wildlife Refuge in Smithfield for Meet a Critter: Big Hawk, Little Hawk. Participants will meet two live raptors, a Red-Tailed Hawk and an American Krestrel, and get to touch preserved feathers, wings and talons.

Program fee: $5.00 per member child and/or adult; $6.00 per non-member child and/or adult.  Recommended for children ages 4 and older.
