Chicago-based country blues band, Sarah & the Tall Boys will be making their debut appearance at the Knickerbocker Cafe on Sat, April 28th.  The band hit the road hard last year and performing at the Knickerbocker Cafe is a well-earned homecoming for New England native and band leader, Sarah Crossman.  Both she and her husband, bass player,  Ian Crossman, are from the east coast, born and raised in Smithfield, Rhode Island

The past year Sarah & the Tall Boys played over 200 shows across the U.S including the main stage at New England's own Rhythm & Roots Festival. Their performance at Rhythm & Roots quickly made them festival favorites, garnering a standing ovation and an encore,  sales of over 300 CD's and an invitation to perform at next year's festival as well as the renowned Strawberry Music Festival in California.

The band is one to watch in 2012 and tickets to their sell-out shows go quickly.
