The Autism Project offers a support group for grandparents of children with Autism or Asperger Syndrome. This program educates grandparents on the characteristics of the disorder and how their grandchildren perceive and relate to the world around them. It also teaches participants how to assist their children and families to raise and interact with their grandchildren.
The Grandparents Support Group will meet the second Monday of every month from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Autism Project, 1516 Atwood Ave, Johnston, RI 02919. Groups do not meet in July and August.
