Learn to Skate

The South County Skating School, at the Boss Ice Arena, offers learn-to-skate sessions throughout the year. Each session is eight (8) weeks, and each class hour includes a 25-minute group lesson, and 25 minutes of practice time. Designed by the United States Figure Skating Association, the Basic Skills Program is a beginning ice skating program that is fun, challenging and rewarding. Participation in the program will enable beginning skaters of all ages, the abilities to learn the fundamentals of the sport and begin a lifetime commitment to health and wellness. South County Skating School customizes their instruction to every level of skater from beginner to advanced including adults.
