Marian J. Mohr Library to Participate in RI Library Day
On Saturday, April 16, Marian J. Mohr Library will participate in the statewide celebration of public libraries known as Rhode Island Librar
- Fine Amnesty – overdue fines on library materials returned on April 16 will be waived. (Please note: this does not apply to lost or damaged materials).
- Book Sale and Basket Raffle – the Friends of Mohr Library will hold a mini Book Sale with books, DVDs and specially priced items.
- Free Book Giveaway – copies of the fiction and non-fiction book club selections will be given away on a first come first served basis, while supplies last.
- Author reading at 2pm.
- Library Scavenger Hunt for all ages with prizes – 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
- Library Tours scheduled at 12 and 3:30 pm.
- Drop-in Technology Assistance – bring your device and we’ll help you set it up for downloading free e-books and audio books.
- Library Card Design Contest for Teens.
- Computer Coding for Tweens – students ages 9 to 13 will learn how to code their own video game using Scratch - 11 am. Registration required.
- Children’s crafts, activities and games from 11 am to 3:30 pm.
