Video: National Hiring Day At McDonald's

The accompanying video shows scenes from the on Atwood Avenue, which participated in National Hiring Day on April 19. Across the country, the company sought to hire 50,000 new employees; the Johnston location is one of four owned by Peter and Linda Crisafi, who were aiming to make 50 new hires.

As part of the day's events, the Crisafis presented a check for $12,500 to Reach Out and Read Rhode Island on behalf of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Easter New England. Also in the video, Reach Out and Read Executive Director Susanna Beckwith explains the organization's mission and how it will use the funds.
