A long-time fixture on Spring Wharf in Newport, the iconic is now located at 963 Aquidneck Avenue. Opened in 1956 by Anthony T. Bucolo and now owned and operated by Stephen and Michael Bucolo, Anthony’s is still the place to buy your seafood. Fresh or frozen, cooked or raw, eat-in or take-out, they offer the freshest seafood available. Most of the seafood is prepared and processed right here in Middletown.
Famous for its wide selection of seafood, I was surprised to see that they carry everything from frozen alligator meat to quahogs.
Native cod fish, flounder, swordfish, lobster, steamers, a selection of oysters, mussels from PEI, Canada or Maine, shrimp, scallops; sea or bay, chowder; broth or creamy, salmon and crab...You have quite a choice to make. For the land lover, there is chicken, hamburgers and eggplant parmesan.

Every Monday and Friday they offer freshly shucked quahogs and juice. Be sure to call in your order in advance. If you check out their website they have a ticker tape running giving you the latest lobster prices.
