Custom Coffee House Showcases Island Photographers' Winter Works

The installation at Middletown's Custom House Coffee recently went up to highlight the Island Photography Group's latest works, inspired by winter on Aquidneck Island.

The photographed landscapes now on display at the in Middletown tell a different story of the most recent winter Aquidneck Islanders have come to know all too well.

The vibrant colors and serene winter landscapes captured by the Island Photography Group call attention to the quiet beauty found in everyday images, such as Adirondack chairs, slumbering peacefully beneath icy snow blankets until the spring.

The group's images of winter all around serves as a friendly reminder to stop sometimes between the shoveling, the plowing and the heating bills to enjoy the beauty of Aquidneck Island year-round.
