Doggie Dip To Benefit Camp Happy Tails, YMCA Summer Camp

MIDDLETOWN, RI — Chances are a lot of dog-paddling will be going on Aug. 19 at the YMCA pool. That's when the "Doggie Dip" fundraising event is scheduled. The Potter League for Animals and the Newport County YMCA are hosting the event at noon. A $10 suggested donation goes to benefit Potter League's Camp Happy Tails and the YMCA's Summer Camp. People are invited to bring "dog friendly" dogs to the pool, the Potter League said.
