Come to the Historical Society to see what a profound group of people accomplished with what nature provided.
You will be taking a journey from the Narragansett Indians, to the wineries and nurseries we see today. See what was accomplished behind the scenes, a day's work did not end after putting away the plows. Churches, schools, social
organizations all emerged from the dedication of a strong group of people determined to build a better life for those to come.
All lectures will take place in the Community Room of the Middletown Public Library, 700 West Main Road, Middletown, RI.
Doors will open at 1:45PM. Seating is limited. A voluntary donation of $5.00 per person or $7.00 per family will help defray the costs of this lecture series and will further the activities of The Middletown Historical Society.
