Holly Days at Norman Bird Sanctuary

The Norman Bird Sanctuary is excited to announce the return of Holly Days, a beloved family event that has not been celebrated for nearly a decade. In honor of the 60th Anniversary of the Sanctuary, Holly Days will have many of the same programs and activities that so many Rhode Islanders remember fondly.

Join the Norman Bird Sanctuary on Saturday, December 18th from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. for a day full of holiday fun. Entrance fee includes story time by the fire, face painting, children's crafts, hot cocoa & cider, cookie decorating, live animal presentations, interpretive hikes, roasting marshmallows by the fire, a gingerbread competition, a visit from Santa, and much more.  For an additional fee you may also take a ride on Mabel's Polar Express, have your photo taken with Santa, enter our raffle for a chance to win some great prizes, make nature gifts to give to loved ones for the holidays, take home scrumptious treats made by NBS staff & volunteers, and give the gift of nature by purchasing animal adoption packages or gift memberships to NBS at a reduced rate.

You can also buy your Christmas tree and wreaths from Peckham Farm who will donate 20% of their sales to NBS. Holly Days will also be the perfect place for last minute gifts from the NBS Owl Shop.
