"The People of Newport" Photography Exhibit to be on Display Oct. 4-28 at the Newport Public Library
More than a dozen members of the Newport Photo Guild have been out in the streets of Newport this summer creating images for a photo contest entitled "The People of Newport."
These photographers have created 'street portraits' of people in Newport that reflect the subject's character and personality. For some of the photographers this is their first experience at photographing people rather than still life or landscapes and this project has been a real challenge and learning experience.
