Visit Sachuest Point during cold weather for a "hot" birding expedition. Winter specialties include Horned Larks, Snow Buntings, Short-eared Owls, Purple Sandpipers and Harlequin Ducks.Meet in the refuge parking lot and then head to the shore to look for waterfowl and other winter inhabitants.Dress for the cold and wind. Ages 10 and up.
