  • Where/When:     on Saturday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    Why Go:  One person’s trash is another person’s treasure at this huge multi-family yard sale that also includes plants, garden items, baked goods, and more. Lunch also will be made available.

  • Where/When:     on Sunday, June 26 from 1 to 5 p.m.
    Why Go:  Local Democrats and anyone interested in running for office are welcome to attend to meet local and state politicians in a laid back, family-friendly atmosphere in which there will be fun and games for everyone.
    Pricing: $20/adult; Free for children.

  • Where/When:     on Saturday, June 25 at 6 p.m.
    Why Go: Perennial favorite Sunset Music Series performers the Indigo Girls will take the stage to perform their classic hits with opening act The Shadowboxers.
     Pricing: $55/Preferred Seating; $35/Standard Seating

  • Where/When:     on Friday, June 24 7:30 p.m.
    Why Go: Aziz Ansari, a stand-up comedian and one of the stars of NBC’s Parks & Recreation will perform a PG-13 rated routine with plenty of laughs.
    Pricing: $43

  • Where/When:     on Friday, June 24 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, June 25-26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    Why Go: Peruse Rosecliff’s carefully manicured gardens, enjoy the magnificent floral arrangements of floral designers near and far, soak in the lectures of master gardeners, and get the opportunity to meet famed cake designer Sylvia Weinstock at this annual event with a theme of Entertaining: Newport Style.
     Pricing: $25/adult on Friday; $23/adult on Saturday and Sunday; $6/youth ages 13-17; Free for children 12 and under; Two tickets for $29 on Sunday; $17/adult Preservation Society member on any day.
  • RHODE ISLAND AIR SHOW
    Where/When:     Quonset Point on Saturday and Sunday, June 25-26 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    Why Go:     Grab the kids and head off island for the Rhode Island National Guard sponsored Air Show where the Blue Angels will perform in addition to several other amazing aircrafts. There will also be plenty of planes on the ground for photo opportunities.
    Pricing: Free; $10 donation suggested to benefit Hasbro Children’s Hospital
