Why Go:Â Local Democrats and anyone interested in running for office are welcome to attend to meet local and state politicians in a laid back, family-friendly atmosphere in which there will be fun and games for everyone.

Why Go: Perennial favorite Sunset Music Series performers the Indigo Girls will take the stage to perform their classic hits with opening act The Shadowboxers.

Why Go: Peruse Rosecliff’s carefully manicured gardens, enjoy the magnificent floral arrangements of floral designers near and far, soak in the lectures of master gardeners, and get the opportunity to meet famed cake designer Sylvia Weinstock at this annual event with a theme of Entertaining: Newport Style.

Why Go: Grab the kids and head off island for the Rhode Island National Guard sponsored Air Show where the Blue Angels will perform in addition to several other amazing aircrafts. There will also be plenty of planes on the ground for photo opportunities.
