Get Stoked for Middletown's Night Before Thanksgiving Bonfire on the Beach

On the night before Thanksgiving, the town of MIddletown has planned an event to bring the community together -- and keep them toasty warm at the same time.

It’s Middletown’s Night Before Thanksgiving Bonfire on the Beach and it runs from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Third Beach.

Bundle up, grab a blanket and a chair and gather your friends for a night of revelry and togetherness to kick off Thanksgiving.

For eons, humankind has gathered around fire to discuss the day’s events, share stories, knowledge and rest.

Today, the family hearth has morphed into a television, or laptop with a Netflix account. On the eve of a day that is supposed to be about families assembling to celebrate all that is good about life, why not head to one of Middletown’s greatest assets -- the beach -- and usher in the season of good tidings with a warm fire and some community kinship?
