Health Inspections: Middletown Establishments Mostly Clean

The state Health Department finds just one violation during food service inspections at three Middletown establishments.

The Rhode Island Health Department has inspected three Middletown establishments in the past couple months, granting two a fully clean bill of health and hitting one with just a single violation:

Hampton Inn and Suites, 317 West Main Road, Middletown. The Health Department reported the following violation during an inspection on Oct. 31:

  • The pre-flush spray hose at the 3-bay sink is hanging below the flood rim. A plumbing system shall be installed to prevent backflow of a liquid or gas contaminant into the water supply by providing an air gap or installing an approved backflow prevention device.
FOP - Middletown Lodge 21, 464 Mitchell's Lane. The Health Department noted no violations during an inspection Oct. 31.

Middletown Columbus Club Inc., 7 Valley Road. The Health Department noted no violations during an inspection Nov. 6.
