Islanders Hit the Fields with Spring Openers

Here's a quick look at this week's lineup for sports at Middletown High School and be sure to check back Tuesday for a preview of the girls' softball season ahead.

The Middletown High School Islanders are back with a full schedule this week for the spring sports season openers:

Baseball

  • The MHS Boys Junior Varsity Baseball Team will compete against Coventry High School on Wednesday, April 6 at 4 p.m.
  • The MHS Boys Freshman Baseball Team will compete against Rogers High School on Thursday, April 7 at 3:30 p.m.
  • The MHS Boys Varsity Baseball Team will compete against Coventry High School on Thursday, April 7 at 4 p.m.

Track & Field

  • The MHS Boys Varsity Track Team will compete against East Providence High School on Monday, April 4 at 3:30 p.m.
  • The MHS Girls Varsity Track Team will compete against East Providence High School on Tuesday, April 5 at 3:30 p.m.

Tennis

  • The MHS Boys Varsity Tennis Team will compete against Coventry High School on Tuesday, April 5 at 3:30 p.m.

Softball

  • The MHS Girls Varsity Softball Team will compete against Rogers High School on Tuesday, April 5 at 4 p.m.
  • The MHS Girls Varsity Softball Team will compete against Portsmouth High School on Thursday, April 7 at 4 p.m.
  • The MHS Girls Junior Varsity Softball Team will compete against Johnston High School on Friday, April 8 at 4 p.m.
  • The MHS Girls Junior Varsity Softball Team will compete against Portsmouth High School on Saturday, April 9 at 11 a.m.

Lacrosse

  • The MHS Girls Junior Varsity Lacrosse Team will compete against Chariho Regional High School on Thursday, April 7 at 4:30 p.m.
  • The MHS Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team will compete against Chariho Regional High School on Thursday, April 7 at 6 p.m.
