Taylor O'Malley helped stopped the bleeding for her team by racking up 14 saves on the night. Warwick put 9 in the net, but Middletown had too many weapons and too much speed for Warwick to keep up.

Sunny Kennedy, who scored a goal Friday night, flies down the turf when she has the ball. So do many of her teammates, including Kindred Lowman, who had two goals of her own. The Islanders are quick on offense, stoic on defense. Even though Warwick put nine past Middletown, the Islanders controlled the tempo of the game from practically the opening whistle.
After Warwick cut the lead to one, the Islanders put an insurance goal up on the board from captain Kirsten Perry late in the second half.
