Middletown Committee for the Arts Needs Volunteers

The Middletown Committee for the Arts is looking for volunteers.

The town committee works to promote the arts in town and in three years, they've coordinated three celebrations for the arts, set up an outreach program and ran two beach sticker design contests.

According to a release, "As you can probably guess it takes many people to undertake a celebration," and so the group needs volunteers.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the committee and to apply for an opening on the committee (Middletown Residents). If interested join us at Aquidneck Pizza (upstairs) on 24 February 2014 at 5:15pm.

"The Mission of the Middletown Committee for the Arts is to support, to create and to promote the Arts within our community, while contributing to the cultural enrichment of Middletown's own economy. Also, we envision a Middletown where the Arts and artists thrive and are wholly integrated in the socio-economic fabric of the community, contributing in unique and multi-faceted ways while sharing in community responsibilities."
