Middletown Flag Football Schedule and Registration

General Info
NFL sponsored Middletown Flag Football League will provide a non-contact 5 vs. 5 format for children to participate in the sport of football. Following the NFL flag rules, children will learn the fundamentals of skill positional play, such as quarterback, running back, receiver, snapper, as well as basic defensive play.

Eligibility
For the 2012 fall season, the MFFL will only be open to the first 40 children ages 8-9, and the first 40 children ages 10-11 to sign up.

Practice & Games
Players will practice on Monday evenings from 5-7 pm (1 hour per division) and will play games Saturday evenings from 5-7 pm at Pottsey Field at the West Main Road Complex.  See the complete schedule below.

Equipment
Included in the league fee, players will be provided with a reversible mesh flag team jersey. Players should dress appropriately for the weather and will be asked to wear cleats. Footballs and other necessary practice equipment will be provided.


Registration
Registration will be ongoing starting August 1st. A registration form can be found on the right side of this article or can be downloaded from the Town of Middletown website. The forms can be dropped off at the Recreation Department office Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. All participants must complete a Consent to Participate and Hold Harmless Agreement and Release Form as well as the NFL Football Waiver.

$40 per child; $10 family discount for each additional child
