Middletown High Fight Ends with Charges Against Two Juveniles

A 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were charged with disorderly conduct after a fight May 9 at Middletown High.

MIDDLETOWN, RI — A fight broke out in the Middletown High cafeteria on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. The police resource officer was in the hallway outside when he was told a fight was underway. The dean and assistant principal were attempting to separate two students. The officer managed to stop the fight. One boy was walked to the main office, while the other boy was taken outside to the patio.

According to the police report, the fight started because one student put his trash on the other student's lunch tray.

The nurse checked each youngster for injuries. Police arrested both and charged them with disorderly conduct.
