Middletown Mayor Stephanie Murray to Open Car Show Ceremony at Poricy Park

Middletown Mayor Stephanie Murray will "cut the ribbon" to open the festivities at the People's Choice Car Show on Saturday, May 2 at 11am.

The People’s Choice Car Show and Tractor Display will open on Saturday, May 2 at 11:00am with the help of Middletown Mayor Stephanie Murray. Ms. Murray will start the festivities with a “ribbon cutting” to launch the weekend of fun events at Poricy Park.

The Car Show will run Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3 from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Cars of the Decades will be on display, along with local dealer’s new cars, and antique tractors. The event is free to the general public. The weekend also includes many activities and the participation of the Historic Murray Farmhouse and Barn in Weekend in Old Monmouth, and a Spring Plant Sale. The historic buildings and plant sale will run on Saturday, May 2 from 10am-5pm and Sunday, May 3, 12pm-5pm.

Vendors and Food Vendors will be there also! Duck Donuts will be there on Saturday only, 11am-1pm. Food choices include M&J Barbecue, Hot dogs/burgers from Frezy’s Concessions, and Hinlickity’s Ice Cream in an antique Ice Cream Truck. Vendors Art’s Embroidery will be there, and The Times of Your Life will have products that can be personalized while you wait.

The organizers/volunteers of the Car Show and the Staff of Poricy Park Conservancy are excited to have Ms. Murray open the festivities of the first car show at the park.
