Newport County YMCA to Host Open House

The Newport County YMCA will host an Open House on Monday, January 19th from 10:00am to 2:00pm. All community members are welcome to come for a facility tour and participate in activities and classes. Become a YMCA member during the month of January and we will waive the joiner fee!

The Open House will feature fun hourly giveaways including a 3 month membership. Opportunities to drop in on fitness classes such as Zumba and Les Mills Body Pump will be available. In addition, there will be free blood pressure screenings, fitness evaluations and healthy refreshments provided in the lobby.

Department representatives will be available to provide information about YMCA programs and member benefits including health and wellness, youth sports, gymnastics, aquatics, adapted physical activities, summer camps, pre-school, after school, babysitting, health safety services and CPR classes. Visitors are invited to learn more about the Newport County YMCA’s enriching community health and wellness programs such as Prescribe the Y, Togetherhood and EnhanceLiving.
