Newport County YMCA Sixth Annual Holiday Wine Tasting!

On Thursday, November 13th the Newport County YMCA will host its Sixth Annual Holiday Wine Tasting at the Atlantic Beach Club, 55 Purgatory Road, Middletown, R.I. from 5-8pm. The event features more than 150 wines, beer and hard cider available for tasting and complimentary hors d’oeuvres provided by local restaurants and gourmet food shops. It also includes a silent auction with over 40 items and music courtesy of the Honkey Tonk Knights.

Tickets are $50 in advance or $55 at the door and can be purchased at the Newport County YMCA, 792 Valley Road, Middletown, or online at www.newportymca.org

All proceeds benefit the 2014 Community Support Campaign, which provides funds for summer camp, youth activities, membership and other programs that focus on healthy living, youth development and social responsibility. Last year, the Newport County YMCA provided over $250,000 in scholarships for children and families in need as we honored our commitment that no one is turned away due to an inability to pay program or membership fees.
