Nobody Hurt after Plane's Rough Landing in Middletown
Firefighters said a plane suffered damage while landing at Newport State Airport Sunday morning.

Nobody was hurt after a small plane crashed during landing at Newport State Airport Sunday morning.
According to Middletown firefighters, the small Cessna suffered damage to its wing, landing gear and propeller when it crash landed at around 11:40 a.m.
The pilot got out of the plane safely and was not injured.

The plane, a Cessna 172, is registered to Interstate Aviation of Plainville, Conn.
