Not Saying "GoodBye" - Just "See You Soon"

Middletown Community Outreach Director takes a new position as Executive Director of Edward King House in Newport.

It's never easy to leave something you love to start something new. But then, we all know that change is a great opportunity for growth.

I have been blessed to work in a job I have completely enjoyed with people I consider my family in a community I love. Never in a million years did I think that change would come my way.

But in September I will have the honor of becoming a part of the Edward King House family in Newport.  I am looking forward to this new adventure, the new friends I will make and the new skills I will learn and share.

To my Middletown family I say see you soon. On the ball field, in the meeting halls, at the grocery store and local events, I am still sure to be there.  I will always bleed "blue" to cheer our Islanders on and will be in the audience when there is so much to celebrate.  And my camera, of course, will never be far behind.

My sincerest thanks to my family at Middletown Public Schools for giving me the freedom to grow as a professional and for believing as I do that our kids are our most precious commodity. Together, we have created memories to last a lifetime.

To my new Newport family at the King House, I am so grateful for the opportunity to widen my circle to include our neighboring community.  Lots more people to love and hold dear.  I can't wait to cross that threshold to say, "I'm home!"

Too many blessings to count I think.  My cup overflows.
