Obituary: Heidi Anne Allen, 48

Heidi A. Allen, 48, of Middletown, RI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI after a brave and extended struggle with cervical cancer.

Born in North Kingstown, RI on October 7, 1966, she was the daughter of Henry C. Allen of Goleta, CA and Helen W. Fiske of Alexandria, VA, and the step-daughter of Richard Fiske.

Heidi was a longtime employee of Starkweather & Shepley Insurance, Inc. She was a creative free spirit who loved art, jewelry and using her talent and skills to make all things around her beautiful.

In addition to her parents and step-father, she is survived by her sisters, Sarah Allen of Lorton, VA and Helen Warmath of Goleta, CA; her niece, Ava Helena Warmath of Goleta, CA; and her dear friend, Lloyd Sisson.

Memorial services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Heidi’s name may be made to charities supporting cervical cancer research or any charity of the donor’s choice.
