Obituary: Jean F. Clark, 93

Jean F. Clark, 93, of Portsmouth, RI, formerly of Middletown, RI, died at home on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 with her family at her side.

She was the wife of the late Hugh W. Clark.

Born in Galesburg, IL on June 20, 1921, she was the daughter of the late and Paul and Ethel Smith.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her children, Millie (Buster) Silvia of Portsmouth, RI, Robert (Maureen) Clark of Bristol, RI, and Jan Johnston, Pat Clark, and Alice Clark-Smith, all of Portsmouth, RI; her grandchildren, Suzanne (Joe) Diamond of New Hampshire, Deborah (Neil) Peirson of New Hampshire, Colleen (Gil) Cepeda of San Jose, CA, Robert (Jenn) Clark, Jr. of East Providence, RI, Amy (Chris) Vitale of Bristol, RI, Courtney (Ray) Bilodeau of East Providence, RI, Robert (Malana) Beese of Portsmouth, RI and Jennifer Allan of Middletown, RI; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 11 am – 1 pm in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 1 pm in the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Middletown Cemetery, Middletown, RI.
