Obituary: Stephen Jemo, 35

Stephen J. Jemo, Jr., 35, of Newport died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital.

Born on June 15, 1980 in Newport, RI, he was the loving son of Stephen J. and Michele “Mickey” (Glynn) Jemo of Middletown.

Stephen was a graduate of Middletown High School and worked for Firex for numerous years and most recently at Newport Grand. He enjoyed fishing and loved to be with his favorite pals Petey and Buddie.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother Kevin Jemo of Newport, RI, his sister Elizabeth Jemo of Middletown, RI, his grandmother Ann Glynn of Middletown, RI, and his partner Casey Lee Morse of Newport, RI, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015, from 4-7 in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 9am, from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Lucy’s Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown, RI

Burial will be private.
