PMC Kid's Ride at 2d Beach, Middletown RI 22 May 8 AM. Help raise finds for cancer research while riding your bicycle!

This spring will mark the eighth annual Middletown Pan Massachusetts Challenge (PMC) Kid’s Ride held for kids of all ages from around Aquidneck Island and beyond to become heroes as they set out on their bicycles to help beat cancer.  The PMC Middletown Kid’s Ride is scheduled for May 22nd at Second Beach parking lot in Middletown, RI with the ride starting at 9 am. PMC Kid’s riders will raise money that will go to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the Jimmy Fund. There will be three ride routes, including a two mile, a six mile, and a trike pike loop for the youngest riders. Healthy food is provided, as well as entertainment and great activities for all including face painting, games, and a fabulous raffle supported by our sponsors.

To register as a rider (ages 15 and below) or as a volunteer, visit: http://www.kids.pmc.org/middletown.aspx. Rider registration is $20. There is also a $25 fundraising minimum that is due the day of the ride. All registered riders will receive a t-shirt, water bottle, Frosty Freez cone certificate, and a $20 gift card to ’47 Store on Yawkee Way by Fenway Park. All volunteer registration is free and will include a t-shirt. Kids can design their own website when they register and become creative with their fundraising ideas.
